Jason is a classically trained software engineer focused on large-scale, data intensive web applications. Over the years Jason has been a part of many successful projects across several disciplines. Developing everything from Java and C++ desktop applications to massively popular web applications employing every cutting edge technology available; his expertise has become quite broad. Senior Developer: Played a critical role in development and deployment of Activision’s Call of Duty Elite website http://elite.callofduty.com/. Developed several game integrated web sites, web services and central authentication server systems.
- The Revere Group (2008 - 2010)
Technical Specialist: Lead engineer on open systems team. Using primarily open source technology, delivered medium to large-scale CMS and big data systems. Developed http://theview.abc.go.com/ and http://www.doctoroz.com/ among other projects.
- Planetwide Media (2006 - 2008)
Senior Software Engineer: Built Hypercomics.com, a social network for comic book creators powered by Drupal CMS framework. Integrated desktop Comic Book Creator application with various web applications.
- Avid Technologies (2003 - 2006)
Application Engineer: Worked in the Game and Film entertainment industry building desktop applications using NxN Alienbrain, C++, and Java. Created Alienbrain Digital Asset Management System, a Java based search portal, back-ended by Alienbrain for asset storage and retrieval.

Played a significant role in both back-end and front-end positions. Mastered the Kohana PHP framework. Learned python. Contributed to one of the world’s highest scale big data systems. Gained more experience with Amazon AWS. Gained a bit of mastery over RESTful JSON based web service architectures.
Served as both back-end and front-end developer creating a cutting edge website designed to bring the user into the game while on the web. Helped develop and integrate a python REST web service that receives, processes, stores and exposes real time game data. The data is then used to display leaderboards and other unique, useful visualizations. Developed social features such as user profiles, forum, twitter and facebook integrations.

Both back-end and front-end developer. Using Drupal CMS framework for content management admin tools, created a high-scale content driven site that generates over $1mil in ad revenue monthly. Created custom platform for handling social features like comments and an event driven exercise program. Runs on Amazon AWS and uses SOLR for search.
