Oct-Nov

From Oct 13 2011 till today I've been working non-stop, nights and weekends. I've managed to fit in a few nights of celebrate recovery and a couple softball games, but that's about it. Getting a bit tired from work, but it's almost over. COD Elite launched and was a complete failure, for so many reasons. Ace combat is about 12hrs from launch and is looking to go pretty smoothly. Here's the summary of the month:

  • Devin and Carol's wedding
  • Mike and Marisa's wedding
  • Working non-stop on COD Elite and Ace Combat Assault Horizon
  • COD Elite launched and was a total disaster. SSO failed, the connect section failed. The only part that worked somewhat was our site, but that's quite buggy even.
  • Ace combat has been taking it out of me, but it's a project I'm going to be very proud of and it is well built and will definitely scale (if it needs to, hopefully =])
  • No drinking, been about 105 days now. Got my 90 day chip
  • Been working out consisently except the last week which was just way too busy. Will get back at it next week.
  • Looking at houses in long beach. Planning to purchase next year around this time if all goes well financially. We're really looking forward to that.
  • Paid off the mattress, only one credit card left to pay down (for macbook pro, tax deductible)
  • Listened to history of charlemagne
  • Read a history of Captain Kidd and most of a history of the batlle for Constantinople in 1453.
  • Listened to the 1st book in the series Hunger Games
  • Watched episodes of Breaking Bad as there was time
  • Had our Anniversary at the Chart House, nice view, bad food
  • Had dinner with Mike and Marisa, then with Ken and Deb, then a bbq at Ken and Deb's place.
  • We'll need to put on dinner soon too.
  • The stock market was really good in October, pretty volitile in Nov so far, but overall flat.
