It's been quite a while since I wrote anything in here. I guess I go through cycles, sometimes I'm all gung ho and excited about life, and sometimes I'm not. When I'm excited, I write more, actually make facebook posts and try to bring a little happiness into the world. When I'm not...well, I'm kind of boring, selfish and hermetical.
So, here's what's been going on:
- June 2011: Working on COD Elite. Still had some plants growing. Thinking about next house purchas quite a bit. Drinking a lot, generally unhappy.
- July 2011: Working on COD Elite with some burning visions peppered in. Drinking a lot. Relatively happy. Had a bachelor party at the end of the month in Vegas. That was fun. Surfing and golfing a lot. Started working on SOLR implementation for a skullcandy project. Plants just about toast.
- Aug 2011: Stopped drinking, excellent. Social life sort of starts to shrivel when I do this, however, happiness factor grows exponentially. Social life will blossom from the better seeds. Still working on COD Elite. Just about done with SOLR implementaton on skullcandy. Uprooted planter box and destroyed it. Sad. Need a bigger yard.
- Sept 2011: COD Elite ratchets up the panic level, things are beginning to be stressful. Still not drinking. Stock market taks a HUGE shit...ouch. Redesign of SOLR front end for skullcandy. Implemented Omniture integration.
- Oct 2011: Month's almost over, it's the 22nd of Oct. Still not drinking. Almost been 90 days. Spent the last 3 weeks working 80hrs per week to get Ace Combat v2 out the door and working on COD Elite. Had to quit the skullcandy project. This made me sad. Looking forward to good financial bonuses. Thinking about 2nd house all the time. Loving my wife a TON...and our dogs. Can't wait for a vacation. Refinancing our house.
